Scope signed offKelso Custom Builders is a family-run general contractor in Peoria, Arizona. Mark Kelso runs every job himself, from the first walkthrough to the day you get your keys back.
A lot of contractors grow until the owner becomes a stranger to the job site. We went the other way on purpose. Kelso Custom Builders stays small enough that Mark personally prices, plans and runs every project, and picky enough that the work holds up under Arizona sun, monsoon rain and real family life.
That means fewer jobs at a time, straight answers when something changes, and a clean site every evening. It also means when you call, the builder answers. Not a call center.
Tap the pins. Five habits that follow us onto every job site.
Every job starts on paper. Measurements, drawings and a scope you can read, so the price means something.
We bring trade-grade tools and the people who know how to use them. No learning on your dime.
Layout gets checked before anything is cut, poured or nailed. Fixing it on paper is free. Fixing it in drywall is not.
Tools go back on the rack and the site gets swept. A tidy job is usually a careful one.
We build like the inspector is coming tomorrow, because in Arizona, they are.
Three phases, each with its own checkpoint. You always know where the job stands.

Arizona homes live through 110 degree summers, dust storms and sideways rain. We detail roofs, flashing and drainage for the desert we actually live in.
